I had a wonderful photo session with Patricia and newborn Mr. C. Here’s one of my favorites from the day, showing Patricia and C. enjoying a nap, together. For me, this photo really captures the glory of this time of life for a mother and infant. So much love and joy – it warms my heart.

In the early morning hours, Mr. C. made his grand entrance into the world. Bearing witness, and making photographs, of this most wonderful occasion was an honor and a pleasure.

Here’s a portrait of Miss J., after eating chocolate; one of my favorites from our photo session. I love the way the chocolate all over her mouth shows her innocence, while the rest of the picture shows her beauty.

As you can see in this picture, I truly was in Bliss, on my birthday.
I went to see the Craters of the Moon, I scaled volcanoes, spelunked through lava tubes, and slept with scorpions. It was a cool start to my new year.
Here’s a photo I made of El Lobo, fellow adventurer, photo buddy, and partner-in-crime, standing on a pile of rubble below a collapsed roof of a lava tube we were exploring.

I had a delightful photo session with Miss H. Here’s my favorite picture from the day.
Just a year and a half old, she brushes her teeth like a big girl! That focus and diligence really show her personality, for me, while the footstool, the lock on the toilet, the empty toilet paper dispenser, and the hoodie towel, give indications of her very young age.

Last month, I had the pleasure of photographing Monica’s maternity photos, and this month I had the added pleasure of meeting and photographing her beautiful newborn daughter, Miss L.
